What is XPSD?
XPSD is a premium made-to-order display system for scale models, LEGO® sets and other brick-built models, watches, jewellery, automotive collectibles, design objects, memorabilia and other pieces that deserve a considered presentation. It combines a solid timber base, low-iron glass and optional integrated lighting.
Can XPSD be used for LEGO® sets?
Yes. XPSD works well for LEGO® sets, custom brick-built models and display-focused builds. Standard sizes suit many compact and medium formats, while larger or unusually proportioned builds can be handled as custom projects.
Where is XPSD made?
XPSD is developed and produced in Poland.
Which woods are available?
The current collection includes Oak, American Walnut and Wenge. New timber species will be introduced over time, but only when they meet our standards for grain, colour, stability and how they work within the XPSD system.
How is the timber finished?
The wood is carefully prepared and treated with high-quality natural oils and protective finishes chosen to deepen its colour, bring out the grain and protect the surface without hiding the tactile character of the material.
What glass does XPSD use?
XPSD uses low-iron glass to minimise the green cast associated with conventional clear glass. Standard thicknesses are 4 mm, 6 mm and 8 mm.
Is XPSD museum-grade?
XPSD is designed with a museum-minded approach to presentation: optical clarity, restrained materials, controlled proportions and careful lighting. It is not presented as a certified conservation or museum-storage system unless a specific custom project is engineered and specified for those requirements.
Can I choose the dimensions?
Yes. Standard S, M and L footprints are available with configurable base and glass heights. Custom dimensions can also be requested and are quoted individually.
Is lighting optional?
Yes. XPSD can be ordered with no integrated light, Warm light or Cool light.
Can XPSD be personalised?
Yes. An optional engraved plaque is available in Brass, Brushed Aluminium or Graphite.
How long does production take?
Standard orders have a production time of 10 business days.
Do you ship within the EU?
Standard orders include free shipping within the European Union. Shipping outside the EU is quoted separately.
Who is XPSD for?
XPSD is designed for private collectors as well as LEGO® enthusiasts, jewellers, watch specialists, studios, galleries and other professionals who want a refined display environment for a specific object.
How is XPSD connected to Dioramax?
XPSD grew out of Dioramax, a specialist studio focused on custom automotive scale models and individual collector commissions. That experience shaped the idea that presentation should receive the same level of attention as the object itself.
LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorise or endorse XPSD.
